So you’ve heard of bullet-proof bras for women, but have you heard of bullet-proof hair? A 20-year-old woman from Kansas City, Missouri recently cheated death thanks to her fake hair weave. Briana Bonds was sitting in her car near a local supermarket when her ex-lover open fired and shot her in the head. Briana told police that her ex-lover got trigger happy when she told him that she no longer loves him. Miraculously her tightly-woven wig caught the deadly bullet and saves her life.
“He fired four or five shots at me, you don’t shot at someone you say you love.”
“I invested a lot of money into this wig, and it saved my life. I’ve got an angel.”
- Briana told NBC News.

When officers arrived at the scene they found a spent bullet stuck in Bond’s wig and said that her tightly-woven weave most likely protected her from a more serious injury. Four shots at close range and no injuries is no joke. Briana Bonds has a lot more to be thankful for more then just her wig.
