Obama-Fingers Anyone?

A frozen food company in Germany recently launched a new product called “Obama-Fingers” in hopes of increasing sales. The German company, Sprehe, is well known for its frozen delicacies such as fried chicken breast, chip ‘n’ dip, etc. Spiegel Online (German News Website) reported that using president Obama’s name for this product might provoke prejudice because fried chicken has long been associated with African American in the United States. I on the other hand think that this is a great idea because African Americans are open-minded people; therefore, I don’t think they would mind some Germans from 6000 miles away using president Obama’s name for marketing purposes.


Not sure how it would taste with curry sauce though.
