El Zacatón

The El Zacatón sinkhole is known as the deepest water-filled sinkhole in the world. It was long considered to be bottomless, but in 1997 NASA solved the pit’s mystery when they sent an underwater robot into El Zacaton and found the depth is actually 338 meters (1,112 ft). via [geology]
 
Neversink Pit

Neversink Pit is a limestone sinkhole found in Alabama. It is one of the most-photographed sinkholes in the world because of its beautiful fern-covered ledges and waterfalls. The hole is about 12 meters (40 ft) wide at the top, but it expands to 30 meters (100 ft) at its bottom. via [aroundtheinterwebs]
 
Daisetta, Texas Sinkhole

On May 7, 2008, an astonishing 270 meters (900 ft) wide and 79 meters (260 ft) deep sinkhole opened up in the town of Daisetta, Texas. The former oil town sits on the Hull Salt Dome which is a four-mile-in-diameter geologic formation of compacted salt. Geologists speculate that years of storing byproduct water waste caused the massive sinkhole. via [hubpages]

Numby Numby

The Numby Numby sinkhole is located in Australia’s Northern Territory and is surrounded by high cliffs. The water reaches a depth of about 60 meters (200 ft) and provides a good environment for swimming since the water source comes from a hot spring hidden which brings the water to a steady 32 degrees Celcius (90 Fahrenheit). via [wiki]
 
Sarisariñama Plateau

Located in the Jaua-Sarisariñama National Park in Venezuela are some of the biggest sinkholes in the world. The largest known sinkhole has a width and dept of about 350 meters (1148 ft). The Sarisariñama Plateau is considered a geological mystery because it was recently discovered in 1974.
