Something Fishy in Acapulco

The shores of beaches in Acapulco were the site of an unusual phenomena this weekend with massive amount of fish packed so densely together that they looked like an oil slick from above.
There were thousands of sardines, anchovies, stripped bass, and mackerel all began showing up on the shore of Acapulco’s beaches after the earthquake hit Japan on Friday. According to local fishermen in Acapulco, this strange phenomenon may have been caused by “the unusual currents unleashed by tsunami that followed the earthquake in Japan.”
Despite the cause, many delighted fishermen of the area rushed out with their motor boats and buckets to take advantage of the event.
